New York City Central Park Weather Almanac

This site documents daily weather observations in New York City's Central Park back to 18691. Data are from NOAA's Global Historical Climatology Network. You can browse the data using the links below. Or, if it is easier you can navigate directly to a given day's website; each day's website has the format massma.github.io/almanac/YYYY-MM-DD.html, where YYYY is the four digit year, MM is the two digit month, and DD is the two digit day. So for example to go to May 1st, 2004, you would just navigate to http://massma.github.io/almanac/2004-05-01.html.

More recent daily pages (after April 2023) also link to archived weather forecasts from the National Weather Service. These forecasts provide context for the day's weather, and can also be used to track how the forecast evolved through time and how it compares to the observed weather.
